“Another
Year of Birthday’s” -Theme for Duluth Women’s Expo
Fashion Show
Duluth, MN……..Lundeen
Productions will present the 2nd Annual
Duluth Women’s Expo at the DECC on Saturday, March 6th
, 2010. This exciting event will feature
exhibitors, a fashion show presented by maurices and
dressbarn, seminars, health screening, sampling,
pampering, entertainment and so much more. Seminars will
be presented by a number of industry experts on a myriad
of topics ranging from health to self esteem, business,
web design and much more.
This year’s fashion shows
theme is “Another Year of Birthdays” in partnership with
the American Cancer Society. Celebrating the many
accomplishments that have been made through cancer
research and advocacy as well as celebrating cancer
survivors. As a fundraiser for the American Cancer
Society VIP Round tables will be available on either
side of the runway that groups and businesses may
purchase for $200 each with proceeds, in part, going to
the American Cancer Society. Each table can hold eight
people and cake and coffee will be served at the tables.
Table numbers are limited and can be reserved in advance
by calling 218-727-1177. Regular theater seating will
also be available at the show at no charge.
“Cancer
touches everyone’s life, and it often makes us feel
helpless,” said maurices Marketing Manager Monica
Hendrickson. “Through our national team partnership with
dressbarn and maurices, we are proud to
come together and help raise awareness to help fight
back. Our goal is to support the American Cancer Society
in its mission to help more people celebrate more
birthdays. It’s an incredible partnership and one we’re
proud to rally around with the help of this community.”

National Team Partners of the American Cancer Society
(ACS). To date, maurices and dressbarn, along
with its parent company db inc, has donated more
than $7 million to the American Cancer Society.

maurices and dressbarn and are hoping that we can raise
some funds and awareness at the Women’s Expo Fashion
Show” said Tracy Lundeen of Lundeen Productions, Women’s
Expo promoters.
Local and
regional celebrities and daughters will model the
fashions. Several cancer survivors will also
participate. The fashion show runs from 1PM to 2PM.
The Duluth Women’s Expo hours
are 9AM to 4PM. Admission is free with a ticket. Tickets
are available from participating businesses and
